About Beacon Harbor
Welcome to Beacon Harbor - a guiding light to safe harbor in life’s journey.
The Name
Beacon Harbor combines two powerful biblical metaphors:
- Beacon = Guiding light through storms and challenges (Matthew 5:14 - “You are the light of the world”)
- Harbor = Safe refuge, place of rest and peace (Psalm 107:30 - “He brought them to their desired haven”)
The name is inspired by Acts 27:12, where Paul’s ship sought “Fair Havens” during a Mediterranean storm. Like that ancient harbor, this blog aims to be a place of rest, clarity, and guidance.

Kékéli Afanou is a software engineer, solopreneur, husband, and father navigating the intersection of faith, technology, and intentional living.
